Own Your Story is a founder-led company.
The philosophy, language, and method behind OYS are developed by ianka fleerackers.
Many parts of the work are executed by ianka directly. At the same time, OYS is built to operate with clear structure and quality standards, so delivery can expand beyond the founder over time.

ianka is the founder of Own Your Story and the originator of the OYS philosophy and method (including O.W.N.® and the Congruence Wheel®).

Her role in OYS focuses on:
  • developing and safeguarding the philosophy and method
  • leading core programs and strategic work
  • maintaining coherence across all OYS applications

How We Work as a Team

OYS is in a deliberate transition toward reduced personality dependence.

At this stage, a significant portion of the work is still carried out by the founder. In parallel, OYS is actively designing its operations so that quality and coherence do not rely on a single individual.


This transition is supported by:

  • keeping programs by admission only, ensuring depth, readiness, and alignment

  • working from a clearly defined method and philosophy

  • assigning roles and responsibilities explicitly

  • implementing technology and AI where it adds real value to preparation, analysis, and execution


AI-supported systems are used to support consistency and scalability in workflows. Judgment, interpretation, and responsibility remain human and method-led.


This approach allows OYS to keep the mantra Own Your Story alive in practice — while carefully building the conditions for founder independence over time.
